A KIA rhino truck with the registration number GB 4815-20 was fully loaded with light poles and it took off from Winneba in the Central Region, heading to Accra.
When the driver of the KIA rhino truck reached Bewadze on the Winneba-Apam highway, an unknown vehicle crossed him.
After the unknown vehicle crossed the driver of the KIA rhino truck, he lost absolute control of his vehicle and unfortunately, he crashed the side of a Toyota Hiace with the registration number CR 1288-12 which was fully loaded with onions.

After the crash, the conductor of the Toyota Hiace died a few hours after the accident because the rhino truck crashed at his side and therefore, efforts made to rescue him were futile whiles the three (3) other passengers onboard the Toyota Hiace are in critical conditions.
The injured victims were quickly rushed to Winneba Trauma hospital whiles the dead body is being deposited in the morgue at the same hospital where the injured victims are receiving treatment.
