Man Arrested After Purchasing A Stolen Motorbike

Information reaching Adom News indicates that a man has been arrested after he purchased a motorbike from an unknown person at Atebubu.
The man is a taxi driver and according to him, he was working in his taxi when an unknown person came to advertise a motorbike for him to buy at all cost.
The person told the taxi driver that, the price of the motorbike is ten thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢10,000).
The taxi driver became interested in the motorbike and decided to purchase it but his money was left with two hundred and fifty Ghana Cedis (GH¢250).
The person accepted the two hundred and fifty Ghana Cedis (GH¢250) and gave the taxi driver an ultimatum of one (1) week.
Not knowing, the motorbike was stolen from someone’s veranda and out of ignorance, the taxi driver was about to take off with it but the residents halted him because they noticed the bike on time.

The residents questioned the taxi driver and after he narrated how it happened to them, they handed him over to the police.
The police arrested the taxi driver and they have already begun the investigations to trace the culprits.
