Sad information reaching Angel TV news indicates that a man has been shot dead at a mining site in the Western Region of Ghana.
According to Angel TV Western Regional correspondent Amponsah Joseph, the name of the man is Agya Charles and he is the owner of the mining site.
Agya Charles was on the site with his workers mining for gold and through their hard work, they were able to obtain one.
Agya Charles and his workers left the mining site after obtaining the one (1) gold and while on their way, armed robbers attacked them and threatened Agya Charles to give them the gold.
Agya Charles gave the gold to the armed robbers and unfortunately, they shot him.
Agya Charles could not survive the shot because he was closer to the robbers and as a result, he died at that spot.
Agya Charles left eight (8) children and a wife behind.
