Swarm of bees has taken over Nkrankan M/A Basic School as they always attack pupils and staff.
According to United Television (UTV) correspondent for Eastern Region Micheal Akrofi, parts of the ceiling in the school’s building have been damaged, creating space in the plywoods.
The bees have used the space in the wood for shelter and manufacture honey there.

Whenever the bees sense the fragrance of spray or pomade on either the pupil or staff, it attracts them and they end up stinging and attacking the pupils or staff.
Due to the pains from the bees’ sting, the pupils and staff will be seen running helter-skelter to rescue themselves.

This always makes teaching and learning ineffective because whenever the pupils and staff are being attacked by the bees, they all run out and never come back to the school.

The headmaster is calling upon the Assemblyman of that constituency and the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) officials to come to the aid of Nkrankan M/A Basic School.
